who are we?
We are Squadra Corse DRIVERLESS!
We’re a passionate group of engineers, designers, and innovators dedicated to building a high-performance electric race car while pushing the limits of technology and teamwork. Together, we tackle real-world engineering challenges, learn through hands-on experience, and strive for excellence both on and off the track.
We develop the vehicle’s mechanical and electrical systems, implement autonomous driving software, and integrate sensors to enable the vehicle to perceive its environment.
The team competes against others, with the vehicle’s performance evaluated on speed, efficiency, and ability to complete the track.
HISTORY
Squadra Corse Driverless competes in top Formula Student events, advancing autonomous racing technology.
The inclusion of several technical divisions and a structured mentoring program from PhDs indicates a further focus on specialization and continuous learning within the team. This composition reflects a strong foundation for a university team, with the potential for innovation, collaboration, and success in competitions.
In the 2023 season, the team participated for the first time in an international competition, taking part in FS East in Hungary, a top-level event. It was a very fruitful season, especially for the opportunity to engage with teams from foreign universities.
